Blake's first Father's Day was filled with such reward! Father's Day is so much better than a birthday... birthday's you get older. Father's Day is a thank you for all that you are a do for your children, how rewarding! Mackenzie and Hudson said thank you with many kisses and hugs along with a new golf bag!! The relaxing day ended with a delicious steak dinner with our good friends Donovan and Jamie. Happy 1st Father's Day!!

Bath Time
A picture is worth a thousand words. Thankfully, Mackenzie's bath time is much more enjoyable than her first one. We have begun a night time routine that is more for Blake and I than Mackenzie, but nonetheless, she's doing very well with it. We start with a bath around 830pm and follow that up with a bottle and music. Blake is usually the one to get her to sleep... duh, he's the best daddy ever! This leaves Blake and I with our time which we missed in the first few weeks of her life. She's currently sleeping from 900pm or so to about 400am... what a dream baby she is.

Cousin Nolan
This last weekend Mackenzie's cousin Nolan came to visit! It wasn't without Rachel and Jimmy and the rest of the Tullius family! My cousin John had a housewarming BBQ and Mackenzie got to meet Grandma Tut and Grandpa, Uncle Lance and Auntie Jen and cousins, Jack and Max. We had such a great time playing with the family and little Nolan, who is waiting the arrival of his little sister in August, got an up close experience with a baby! Unfortunately no pictures where taken... unless Grandma Tut wants to send one to me from the BBQ!! Hint Hint!

Big Brother Hudson
Hudson, our fur-child, has really started to accept Mackenzie as his sister. Initially he was sad and missed the attention from us, but as time passed he's really began to love her. Although he too misses his sleep and is excited when we all leave the house so he can jump on the couch for a long nap! He's usually right by my side when I change diapers (the jar of dog cookies next to the changing table may have something to do with it). He is a great big brother!

First Trip to Crescent Bar!
Less than 3 weeks old, Mackenzie had her first trip to Crescent Bar! Blake and I thought, now is good as time as any to introduce her to the best place to spend a summer! Although she had a little bit of the sniffles, she really had so much fun! She got to lay on the beach and catch some rays - it's okay Grandmas, she had lots of sunscreen and shade on her! She also met the majority of the Crescent Bar Crew and is anxious to go back for 4th of July... a whole week!! Oh boy!

Mackenzie is LOVED!!
So many visitors, so little time! After waiting almost two weeks for our little one, my mom found her time with her new granddaughter VERY short! The day we returned from the hospital Grandma Ceecee was on a plane home... thankfully she's coming back again for another visit in August! A few days later Blake's mom arrived to help us. The gift of sleep was greatly appreciated by both Blake and I as Grandma Tamu took Kenzie for the night. Both Ceecee and Tamu left the freezer filled with yummy foods to help us along in the early weeks! To represent the Freeman family, Auntie Rachael flew in for a few days as she was returning to the states from Paris. There is no other PB&J sandwich maker better than she... delicious!! Here are a few pictures from their visits.

Day 6 - First Day Out
It's day 6 and I wanted some fresh air... where do Blake and Shay go for fresh air on a beautiful sunny Sunday in Seattle... The Fuller's! Auntie Courtney and Uncle Harry hosted us at their house for a little BBQ, ie non-hospital food! Miss Mackenzie loves her car seat so much she'll sleep anywhere, see image
