6 Months!

With the countdown starting, we are in high gear preparing for our little girl to join us. The office space was the first to go and is now officially a nursery!! We have picked up and assembled the crib and one of the dressers that Grandma CeeCee and Poppa Frank got for us and put it in her room. Here is a picture of Hudson ready to protect his little sister. On New Year's Eve we went to Babies R Us with snacks and water in hopes that we make it through the registry process. Thankfully we did... it was a tough few hours and we probably looked a little googly-eyed after. Another memorable moment for us was when Blake felt the baby kick for the first time. He was awed and excited to feel her and to finally share this with me. He now talks to my belly and it's remarkable how much she responds to his voice, last night she went on a kicking tangent when he was talking to her, it was too precious. Between feeling her kick and seeing the room come together, it's really sinking in for Blake that this is all happening and happening SOON!
